Question for Undecided Voters

What is left to be said? What could you possibly be waiting for? It's out there already.

Come out come out where ever you are!!!

I know, there really are no undecided voters left at this point. There are just people who won't say who they are REALLY voting for.

Happy Halloween!

Disgusting voter registration tactics.

I don't know if I have ever seen such widespread voter fraud in my lifetime. This reminds me of Chicago politics of the past.

Hmmm......or is it Chicago politics of the past? Is it maybe....Chicago politics brought to the national stage?

This article is one of hundreds that talk about "impartial voter registration" organizations doing the disgusting in order to bring votes to their candidate of choice. While reading this, please realize that this woman voted already. She along with thousands in my current home state of Ohio have voted, and while it is probably technically legal, I think it is representative of a disgusting "ends justify the means" approach that the left has taken to since the 1960's.

Alzheimer's patient voted, records show

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Examples of possible voter fraud stretch from the farmlands of Ohio to the West Coast.

In Highland County, 95-year-old Mildred Meddock registered and voted for the first time in her life despite her advanced Alzheimer's disease.

Her granddaughters learned of her newfound patriotism when they visited the nursing home where Meddock lives and saw an "I voted today" sticker on her clothing.

Records show that Meddock registered Sept. 26 when two Highland County Board of Elections employees visited the home, Heartland of Hillsboro, about 65 miles south of Columbus. Four other residents also were registered and voted that day.

"I'm hot. I'm livid," said granddaughter Chrystal Brown. "A month ago, she couldn't tell you her name she was so bad, and, depending on what time of day it is, her name is the only thing she can tell you."

The secretary of state's office is investigating, assigning an attorney to the case and giving him subpoena power.

"When you have a captive audience dealing with a disability, there's always a concern about undue influence," Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner told The Dispatch last night.

She said this isn't the first complaint her office has received about the nursing-home group.

Heartland of Ohio operates 48 nursing homes in the state. "The boards of elections do come to our centers regularly," said Kelly Kessler, a Heartland spokesman. "A lot of our patients want to vote and they come with absentee ballots."

Brown has no problem with the outreach effort as long as patients are competent.

"My question is ... which side was she coerced into voting for, or maybe my question is how many impaired elderly people are used and taken advantage of for their vote?" Brown said.

Being a veteran, and having witnessed the sacrifices personally, I am deeply moved by this young man's short speech.

I thought the war on Iraq was a mistake when we invaded. But once boots were on the ground, and "shock and awe" had decimated the nation of Iraq, it would have been the most inhumane moment in our great nation's international history to have left the people of Iraq to the whims of the various powers who sought to dominate them, and rule them.
Can you imagine the carnage and the bloodshed that we would have allowed to go on, possibly for decades?

Mr. Obama, why did you seek to destroy the people of Iraq with your demands for a complete withdrawal from the region when they needed us the most? It's bad enough that we invaded to begin with. To leave them without clean water, or electricity, or schools, or hospitals, or the very governmental infrastructure needed to implement these things is the most inhumane foreign policy I have ever heard.

All Hail Prime Minister PELOSI !!

Yes, it will be true for all practical purposes. If Senator Obama becomes President, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi will effectively be our Prime Minister.

You see, anything President Obama wants to do must go through Comrade Pelosi. She will decide his tax plan, his economic policies, and everything else he wants to do EXCEPT some foreign policy decisions.

Think about it. She will have all the power, and she doesn't have to listen to anything President Obama has to say. For example: If he wants to lower taxes, she can kill it in committee.

I don't care what the French think of us but:

Since someone brought it up on another blog, I figured I'd post this here.

French President: Obama Utterly Immature, Empty of Content!
By John Lillpop Tuesday, October 28, 2008

Apparently Barack Obama’s hypnotic trace and mesmerizing witchcraft have failed to convince at least one thinking European that he is the “promised one,” come to lead the world into daylight after eight devastating years of fog under George W. Bush.

According to a story in Haaretz.com**, “French President Nicolas Sarkozy is very critical of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama’s positions on Iran:

“Sarkozy has made his criticisms only in closed forums in France. But according to a senior Israeli government source, the reports reaching Israel indicate that Sarkozy views the Democratic candidate’s stance on Iran as “utterly immature” and comprised of “formulations empty of all content.” More......

2001:Obama explains his view on redistributing wealth

Can there be any doubt at this point that Senator Obama is a full blown Marxist? That's great.....if you are a Marxist. I'm not. I have seen it fail everywhere it makes an appearance. Miserably.

Yes, the Constitution is flawed because it does not have any Marxism integrated into it.

READ MY LIPS: Democrats Promise Even MORE Tax Increases

A lot of people are going to Vote for Senator Obama because they are expecting a tax cut under the Obama Plan, even if you don't pay taxes. Obama is promising to raise taxes, but only if you make more than $250,000,000. By 2010, 107 million people will not be paying income tax at all. That sounds good...... But here we see they are planning even more taxes. Presidents don't raise taxes, congress does.
What is going to happen when our already highly taxed companies (2nd highest corporate tax rate in the world) decide enough is enough? What is to stop them from moving to Brazil, or the Bahama's, or Ireland? Where will we get the tax money from then? What about the fact that there will suddenly become less people (on paper) that make $250,000. Where are they going to get that money from then?
They will start taxing more heavily the folks that make $150,000 or more, that's what. And when they start hiding their assets and moving them into tax shelters, or they stop moving up into that higher tax bracket, they will come after the folks that make over $75,000 the same way the Democrats always have.
Think about it.
Do you remember Bill Clinton's promise to cut taxes for the middle class? I do. That was what he ran on. He ended up raising our taxes.

What I'm saying is this. The Democrats are promising to raise taxes and give it to people that don't pay taxes and you are ok with that perhaps. You ain't gonna do anything about it because it's only for the rich. That alone is bad economics, but I'm not even going to get into that. When they go after the "rich" folks that make $150,000 you more than likely ain't going to do anything then either. It ain't you, right?
But they are also promising even more spending! Read their lips!
They are giving it to people that prefer to sit in the bar all day, or hang out on a corner, or play video games all day. Yes there are people who are working hard and struggling and not making it. But they don't make provisions for that. They don't discriminate.
What are you going to do when they come after your income? Believe me, the ones that make less than YOU are going to support that. They really will. The same way you supported going after the rich.
Except you ain't rich. Neither am I. But now it's too late, because you are not reading their lips.
Think about it.
Majority in the House, majority in the Senate, and one of their own in the White house. Read their lips, because if they are telling you they are going find even more "rich" people, they mean it. And when they get to your paycheck, you are going to wake up. By then, it will be too late, won't it?
The dependent class that they created will need fed.

Do something NOW.

READ THEIR LIPS!!!!!!

that will herald the end of the republic."--Benjamin Franklin

Obama Supporter Carves a "B" into a McCain Volunteer's Face. FALSEHOOD

Edit: I am very happy to report the below story is a falsehood and no Obama Supporter has done any despicable act like this. Apparently the girl made it up. I apologize to Obama supporters everywhere for believing this lie, and for putting it on this blog. (Yes, I know hardly anyone reads this blog, being new and unadvertised and all that) I try to stay away from lies. I should have believed the super intelligent Michelle Malkin

An absolutely disgusting and diabolical deed was performed a few miles from a Sarah Palin event near my home on the Pa border. I grew up in the City of Pittsburgh, and I work there even now, so this kind of thing happening in my back yard makes it even more frightening.
Police spokeswoman Diane Richard said the robber took $60 from Todd, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using a dull knife to scratch the letter "B" into her face, Richard said.
Read More here....

I have one of those McCain/Palin bumper stickers on my car. Do I have to carry a weapon to defend my support for a political figure now????

Is supporting a candidate worth possibly maiming another person for life???

To her credit, Obama's Pennsylvania spokeswoman, Allison Price, did respond to this story:

This is a horrendous act of violence. Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.

It's nice to see that they show support for this girl.

Feminst Leaders Defecting to Governor Palin's Side

Palin surrounded herself onstage with two higher-profile defectors from Sen. Hillary Clinton's camp -- Lynn Rothschild, a member of the Democratic Platform Committee, and Elaine Lafferty, a former editor-in-chief of Ms. Magazine -- along with Shelly Mandell, the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women, Linda Klinge, the vice president of Oregon's NOW chapter and Prameela Bartholomeusz, a small business owner and member of the Democratic National Platform Committee.

AP presidential poll: Obama at 44 percent and McCain at 43 percent

This is getting a little more realistic. An AP poll among likely voters has the race essentially even. One point separates the two. The only polls I pay any attention to are the ones that sample "likely voters". They have been historically more consistent than other kinds of polls.

Our Media has Become the Left's PRAVDA

This is an excellent article concerning Senator Obama's media arm. That would be the mainstream media. I am personally outraged by outlets such as the New York Times, NBC, CNN, and the disgustingly left leaning AP. Not to mention all of the journalists that have left their mandate to bring us the truth. They have decided to cover up that truth, sweep it away and hide it under a bushel. It's disgusting.

Would the Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On the Lights?
By Orson Scott Card

An open letter to the local daily paper — almost every local daily paper in America:

I remember reading All the President's Men and thinking: That's journalism. You do what it takes to get the truth and you lay it before the public, because the public has a right to know.

This housing crisis didn't come out of nowhere. It was not a vague emanation of the evil Bush administration.

It was a direct result of the political decision, back in the late 1990s, to loosen the rules of lending so that home loans would be more accessible to poor people. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to approve risky loans.

What is a risky loan? It's a loan that the recipient is likely not to be able to repay.

The goal of this rule change was to help the poor — which especially would help members of minority groups. But how does it help these people to give them a loan that they can't repay? They get into a house, yes, but when they can't make the payments, they lose the house — along with their credit rating.

They end up worse off than before.

This was completely foreseeable and in fact many people did foresee it. One political party, in Congress and in the executive branch, tried repeatedly to tighten up the rules. The other party blocked every such attempt and tried to loosen them.

Furthermore, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were making political contributions to the very members of Congress who were allowing them to make irresponsible loans. (Though why quasi-federal agencies were allowed to do so baffles me. It's as if the Pentagon were allowed to contribute to the political campaigns of Congressmen who support increasing their budget.)

Isn't there a story here? Doesn't journalism require that you who produce our daily paper tell the truth about who brought us to a position where the only way to keep confidence in our economy was a $700 billion bailout? Aren't you supposed to follow the money and see which politicians were benefiting personally from the deregulation of mortgage lending?

Have they noticed all of their ratings are down? Have they noticed their circulation is dwindling? Is it because they have found out more about "Joe the Plumber" in TWO DAYS than they have told us about Senator Obama in TWO YEARS?
I watched them interview Sarah Palin, and not once did they ask her how she accomplished all that she has in Alaska. How did she become Alaska's first female Governor? How did she overhaul of the state’s ethics laws? What was her role in formulating a competitive process to construct a gas pipeline? What did she do when she was elected by her peers to serve as president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors. How did she manage to negotiate a deal with the big oil companies that allowed her to get rid of the state gasoline tax, and brought dividends to every citizen of Alaska? How did she manage to cut her own salary and reduce property taxes 60%? Instead of even asking anything about this woman's accomplishments, they took the dirty approach and grilled her until she made mistakes. She is a great woman with actual accomplishments, unlike their darling Obama who has accomplished what?? And they don't even talk about the gaffes he has made in his interviews, ones that they glossed right over. Ones that demonstrated he was lost, not presidential, and not even remotely qualified. 57 states with one to go? He thought kentucky was closer to Arkansas than to Illinois? In front of a roaring Sioux Falls, S.D., audience, Obama exulted: “Thank you, Sioux City. ... I said it wrong. I’ve been in Iowa for too long. I’m sorry.” He said his parents got together at the Selma Bridge march and shortly afterward, Obama Jr was born. Bridge march happened 4 years AFTER he was born. He complained that there were not enough interpreters in Afghanistan because they are all in Iraq. Nevermind the fact that in Iraq they speak Arabic or Kurdish, and in Afghanistan they speak Pashto, Farsi, or other non-Arabic languages.
I could go on and on and on. But he gets a pass. No tough questions. His Pravda will not have it!
They won't even play Joe Biden's remarks about an eminent threat within six months of an Obama Presidency. They don't go to Union street to Katie's restaurant like Joe Biden invited us to in the debates. It's been closed since the mid 1980's. Katie Couric never even batted an eyelash when Joe talked about people watching President Roosevelt on their TV's in 1929. She didn't know who the president was in 1929? She is so ignorant of her own industry that she doesn't question people watching TV in 1929? No, she knew.

Disgusting.

Iran Calls for Pre-emtive Strike against Israel

Top Iran officials recommend preemptive strike against Israel

By Barak Ravid, Haaretz Correspondent
Senior Tehran officials are recommending a preemptive strike against Israel to prevent an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear reactors, a senior Islamic Republic official told foreign diplomats two weeks ago in London.

The official, Dr. Seyed G. Safavi, said recent threats by Israeli authorities strengthened this position, but that as of yet, a preemptive strike has not been integrated into Iranian policy. More....
That's some scary stuff. Russia rattling sabers, Iran talking about preemptive strikes, Sudan on the edge of erupting into another Darfur type war......I don't know, looks like we are going to need a foreign policy guy in the White House after all.

States I am pretty sure Senator McCain will win.

I know the national polls don't reflect it, but there are states where I am willing to call for Senator McCain as long as he continues campaigning there.

The state that folks say I am wrong about most is Pennsylvania. The national polls show it very blue, but in fact, it is not. Even Senator Obama's leaked internal polls show it very very tight. That also explains why Pa. Governor Rendell is nervous when Senator Obama is not actively campaigning there. I think he saw the internal Obama polls too.

So I'm flipping Pennsylvania red. Barely red, sure, but red nevertheless.
Ohio will likely go for Senator McCain as well.
Does anyone really think that Virginia or North Carolina are going to go for Senator Obama?
Florida is also likely going to go to Senator McCain.

That gives Senator McCain 256 electoral votes, and brings Senator Obama down to 252.

Overly optimistic? No.

I remember the 2004 election polls. Senator Kerry had a huge lead on President Bush on this day nation wide. Ohio was supposedly in the bag for Kerry. Ohio went to President Bush. The media were all but calling it for Senator Kerry.

If my analysis is correct, or even near correct, Senator McCain will need to go after either Indiana or Missouri, then Nevada to win this election.

Pennsylvania is really the only state that may go to Senator Obama. In that case, Senator McCain loses. Not mathematically, but for all practical purposes.

Obama Tweaks Tax Plan to Rebut McCain

ABC News' Teddy Davis, Hope Ditto, Arnab Datta, and Ferdous Alfaruque Report:

Facing criticism from John McCain that his tax plan constitutes "welfare," Barack Obama recently added a work requirement to one of his proposals.

"They started saying this was welfare," said Obama adviser Austan Goolsbee. "So, just so they would absolutely not be able to say that, we decided that for the last two percent we'll simply add a work requirement."

Goolsbee discussed the change to Obama's universal mortgage credit while debating McCain adviser Douglas Holtz-Eakin at the Council on Foreign Relations on Tuesday. More...

How is anyone supposed to believe anything Senator Obama says about what he is actually going to do when he is tweaking his tax proposal in such a way in order to sound better politically. Or is he having a change of heart about Marxism?

Forget Joe the Plumber.....

What about sweet little 5 yr old Hadassah Jones?

Almost a year ago, Senator Obama visited the campus of North Carolina Central University. I was reminded about this event when looking at an older article from the Obama Mama's website that was posted the day after Senator Obama's visit there.

After giving a speech to a crowd in the football stadium, Senator Obama was preparing to leave without taking any questions. Hadassah Jones was crushed when Senator Obama said that he would not take any questions from the media. It actually brought tears to her eyes. That was why she was there after all. Upon seeing her sobbing, Senator Obama relented and granted her an exclusive interview. That interview was one of the first times Senator Obama went on the record talking about his socialistic plans to redistribute wealth. He got away with it that time, because no one was really paying that close attention to him yet.
What Senator Obama actually revealed in that interview was his form of socialism. Senator Obama gave the little girl a quick overview of his plan for universal health insurance coverage and better education. Then he explained his view that the wealthy should pay the expenses of people who are not wealthy:
"We've got to make sure that people who have more money help the people who have less money," Sen. Obama said. "If you had a whole pizza, and your friend had no pizza, would you give him a slice?"
In this explanation Senator Obama revealed his belief that the people who work hard and become successful in this world should help those who are in need. I agree with that. It's a moral imperative that we should help those less fortunate than ourselves. Absolutely nothing wrong with asking folks to do so. But when Senator Obama said "We've got to make sure that people who have..." he is taking a radical position because now he is speaking in code for using force and the police power to enforce this moral imperative. Make sure = force.

Is that the American dream? Work hard, be a success and then let Big Brother take your hard work and give it to someone who may not have any inclination to work at all?

Senator Obama tries to cover over the force factor by asking her about a slice of pizza. He described a moral imperative that we as decent people ought to do. But who could argue with that? Of course we ought to. And we do! Americans are the most generous people on Earth. We get the pizza analogy.
Let's use the pizza analogy again, in the same way as he described making the haves give to the have nots. I will rephrase the first part using pizza:
"We've got to make sure that people who have more pizza help the people who have less pizza." In other words, force the people who have pizza to share. So perhaps then the second part could have been explained more honestly by asking her if she has a pizza and someone wants a slice, should she be sent to prison for not giving away a slice?
Maybe he should ask her a fair question. Something like:
"If your mother gives you a pizza every week for cleaning the kitchen, taking the trash out, washing the car and cleaning your room whose pizza is it? And say it is 10 slices. Whose pizza is it? What if it's two slices? What if it's twenty? Then imagine your friend who does nothing all week. She just sits around her house and plays video games and eats potato chips. At the end of the week, she doesn't have a pizza, but she wants one. How much of YOUR pizza should you be forced to give her every week? And how long will you keep working hard to have your pizza distributed among those who don't bother?"

Isn't that what we are talking about here? That's socialism.

An even better analogy would be a small business that 5 year olds would understand. Lemonade stands. Imagine her buying lemons and sugar and setting up a stand in the hot sun, working all day while her neighborhood friends are playing in the fire hydrant, or in the air conditioning playing video games, or some other fun activity. Any one of them could have set up a lemonade stand, but they didn't want to. Now along comes Constable Obama and counts how much her lemonade brought in and he takes half of it (after costs of course) and distributes it evenly among the neighborhood children who spent the day doing nothing. Does that make her hard work pay off more for her, or for the other children?

That's what Senator Obama is proposing we do as a nation. And no one seems to understand why that is bad for entrepreneurship.

Origin of the Spirit

I'd like to talk about the spirit a little bit. Mostly I'd like to hear what others believe about each spirit's origin. If you believe in a spirit, as most of us do, what is your take on each spirit's beginning?

My personal belief, based on what I have read in the Bible, and how personal revelation has come to me, is that the spirit existed before we had jars of clay to contain them. I came across a poem by William Wordsworth that summed up my thought better than I personally ever could in these lines:

Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting:

The soul that rises with us, our life’s star,

Hath had elsewhere its setting, and cometh from afar:

Not in entire forgetfulness, and not in utter nakedness,

But trailing clouds of glory do we come from God who is our home.

(from "Ode on Intimations of Immortality"--William Wordsworth)

Although I know that Wordsworth's poem was not specifically about pre-existence, those lines ring true to me. I am also aware he uses the word soul instead of spirit, but I think he is calling what we call spirit a soul. Perhaps this is what Paul was talking about when he wrote:

"Now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed" (Rom. 13:11)

And what did he mean when he penned Hebrews 11:13-16? He spoke of being pilgrims and strangers on Earth, and a desire to find a country.(Greek word is patris meaning: a father-land)

Heb 11:13 "All these died according to faith, not having received the promises but beholding them afar off and saluting them and confessing that they are pilgrims and strangers on the earth."
Heb 11:14 "for men who acknowledge this make it manifest that they are seeking elsewhere a country of their own."

He hints that this father-land is not the place they were born into, but a heavenly one.

Heb 11:15-16 "And if they had cherished the remembrance of the country they had left, they would have found an opportunity to return; (16) but, as it is, we see them eager for a better land, that is to say, a heavenly one. For this reason God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has now prepared a city for them."

In the Old Testament, we read that "... the dust returneth to the earth as it was, And the spirit returneth to God who gave it." --Ecc 12:7

I believe when the Bible speaks of the fall of Adam, it speaks about each and every one of our spirits. We all chose the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. I don't think DNA has anything to do with it. Our present journey through material life is of our own choosing, not the choice of one man in a place in time. Recall that the Jews still call Heaven Gan Eden. The place where man fell is the same place men should aspire to return.

Any thoughts?

Blessings

It Never Ends!

Media Bias

I think it is both funny and pathetic the way the national media has been behaving towards this Presidential Campaign. While it makes me laugh, it also makes me very very angry too. Of course, if Obama is your guy, you won't see the bias. It's there, it truly is. They will take any opportunity to avoid making Senator Obama look bad. They settle for weak answers from him, while they grill Governor Palin about Senator McCain's voting record in congress. Meanwhile, Senator Biden's interview with Ms Couric went much smoother for him, even when he mentioned that folks watched President Roosevelt on TV in 1929. She didn't even ask him what he reads. and she never go tough with him about any non answer he provided.

I am today looking at an AP/Yahoo poll. When I look at it, it clearly shows that the race has tightened to within 2%. It's right there in black and white.
What does the media report? Nothing of the sort. Here is how the AP is slanting the data:
"When it comes to the public's image of John McCain, it's as if somebody dialed the electricity down in the past month. For Barack Obama, the juice is still flowing.

People's regard for the Republican presidential nominee has deteriorated across the board since September, an Associated Press-Yahoo News poll showed Friday, with McCain losing ground in how favorably he's seen and in a long list of personal qualities voters seek in White House contenders.

Perceptions of Obama have improved or remained steady. Beyond views of the two rivals' character traits, McCain faces another problem — Obama is more trusted on the economy, the contest's commanding issue, including a 15 percentage-point edge for better grasping how the raging financial crisis is affecting people".......

A look at Senator Obama's own invisible, forgotten District

Beacause it Seems Like Everyone's Memory is Short

Does anyone remember the Primary season and this video?

His candidates always run the same campaign.

Oddly enough, According to the most recent Gallup poll, McCain and Obama are separated by only two points among likely voters. Still a lot of undecideds out there. I know the main stream media is trying to sway them to Obama. They crack me up. They investigate Joe the plumber's back ground and get him fired, yet they refuse to even consider honestly looking at Senator Obama's background. The following one is actually the one that , if nothing else, calls his judgment into question. Watch it, and tell me if this freshman senator with almost no experience (and apparently no more friends left) is prepared to be the President of the United States of America.

Votes Stolen?

Investigation launched into questionable vote

"He told his family that an aide from Primus took him and five other mentally challenged clients to vote and forced them to vote for Barack Obama. Justice says he told the aide he wanted to vote for John McCain, but was overridden."

Some peoples vote count. Some people's vote is taken by someone else. This is one of the most un-American things I have ever heard. It's the kind of thing you would expect to hear in the old Soviet system, not our Land of Liberty.

It makes me wonder, where else might this sort of thing going on.

Huffy Hypocracy

Todd Palin's Past Political Associations A Likely Security Clearance Disqualifier

Ummmmmm.......Todd is running for what office again?

What does this say about Senator Obama? Has he been properly investigated for his security clearance yet?

Nope.

It is time to get serious.

"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power."

-- Benito Mussolini (from Encyclopedia Italiana, Giovanni Gentile, editor).

It is time to think about where we as a nation are headed. What kind of world do we live in when men like Hugo Chavez begin calling President Bush “Comrade”? Chavez is absolutely correct in insinuating our Government has taken a decidedly socialist turn. More than that, it has taken a turn towards fascism.

Fascism. Yes, I said it. No one wants to look at it that way, but that's what it is.

I'm not talking about the Fascismo of Italy, or the NAZI fascism of Germany that are oh so famous examples of this particular form of socialism. It's a different kind of fascism. It's the kind of fascism that the early 20th century American progressives admired. The so called “3rd way” half way between laissez faire capitalism and Soviet style communism. Something more closely aligned with Fabian fascism.

Let's examine the actions of our government these past few weeks. Our President, along with Secretary Paulson devised a 700 billion dollar bailout plan for the financial industry based on buying bad loans and sitting on them until they became viable again. We were told that if it did not pass, capitalism as we know it would crumble in America. In fact, we were told it had to pass immediately or there would be no time to prevent the New Depression. It didn't pass. Then we were informed that some were told that a second vote on it must pass or the consequences would be dire, and that quite possibly, martial law would be needed to stop the panic and the riots in the street. “Sweeteners” were injected into the bill and seeing a decline in the stock market that congress was told was a result of the bill not passing, the bill passed. Both of our presidential hopefuls supported this atrocity, as well as the Speaker of the House, the senate minority and majority leaders, and everyone else of power and influence. This bill has become the path towards fascism, and it is happening before our very eyes, in broad daylight without any apology. It has been noted in several places that $700 billion was enough money to buy all of the banks involved, and a good portion of the largest bank in the US as well. I filed that thought and haven't forgotten it.

The government has gone against the will of the people in order to bring this bill into law, and now they thumb their noses at us even more by not even administrating it the way we were told it would be administrated. Instead of buying up bad mortgages, as we were told, they have devised a “new” strategy for using this 700 billion dollars. They have decided all of a sudden that the best course of action to take is not buying bad mortgages as we were told. I agree with that by the way. That was a horrible idea. What I don't agree with is what Paulson has decided to actually do with the money entrusted to his care. An amount of money that has made Secretary Paulson effectively the most powerful figure in the world. An unelected manager with the power of the federal Government and all of the police power needed to back his moves. Mr Paulson has decided that we should invest this money directly into the banks. He is buying a share in the corporations of the financial industry. The US Government is now buying stock in private companies. That's not all. They are buying up these pieces of these institution whether the banks want them to or not! The banks have no say so. The banks are not given a choice for all practical purposes. The government's preferred stock will pay a 5% dividend for the first five years and then convert to 9%. Firms will not be able to increase their dividends for three years while the Treasury is an investor and cannot get rid of the investment for three years unless they raise high-quality private capital. Firms must also get Treasury's consent to buy back their own stock. In other words, as long as the Treasury feels inclined to remain an investor, the bank has no way of buying back their own stack. Stock that the government is forcing them to sell to the Treasury in the first place.

There are actually banks out there that do not want any part of this deal. Thousands of them. Especially the smaller banks. Many of them have no problems financially at all, and are upset with the Government because of the bail out of the banks that operated more recklessly.

Peter Fitzgerald, chairman of Chain Bridge Bank in McLean, was quoted in a Washington Post story saying that they are "much chagrined that we will be punished for behaving prudently by now having to face reckless competitors who all of a sudden are subsidized by the federal government."

Secretary Paulson is forcing banks to take his offer, whether they want it or not. That is absolutely unforgivable. And the way fascism works, the way it REALLY works, is that Government does not take over a corporation. They take a share of it, then they put their “guy” inside to oversee the operation. This is exactly what the TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) laws being used by Paulson is allowing to happen. When you begin to combine that with socialist trend affecting our nation you have fascism.

Harry Truman's steel mill seizure was struck down by the Supreme Court in 1952. Is there any chance this one will too? Is there any chance that the Supreme court might get an opportunity to review what is happening to our financial industry, and will it use the same judgment and wisdom to tell Secretary Paulson( or his replacement) and whomever is President "No more."?

EDIT: After I wrote this, I came across this article from 1997 by Joseph Farah that explains what I mean by Fascism. He was spot on and ahead of his time.

It is Confirmed: Western Pennsylvania is Filled with Haters!!

Murtha: ‘No Question That Western Pennsylvania Is A Racist Area’

All of you racist Picksburg Stiller fans should be ashamed of yourselves!!! Your own elected officials are calling you racist. It must be true. It is confirmed!!

Now, get out there and prove your US Representative wrong. Even if you like Senator McCain, it is your duty to VOTE FOR SENATOR OBAMA. If you don't, everyone will know, you are nothing but a bunch of racists.

I on the other hand do not have to comply with this because while it is true I was born and raised in Western Pa, I reside in Ohio now, and I must vote 73 times for Senator McCain to counter possible excessive voting for Senator Obama. I am trying to find an ACORN rep to sign me up a few more times, right now I am only registered once.

Obamahood is coming!!!

There is really only one problem with comparing Senator Obama to Robin Hood.

Robin Hood stole from the GOVERNMENT, he didn't work for them! You know, the sheriff??

Something to Think About.....Will you?

Democrats Aim for Super Majority in Congress as Economic Crisis Hits Home

From ABC NEWS:
Democrats Aim for Super Majority in Congress as Economic Crisis Hits Home
Republicans Fight for Political Survival; North Carolina Could Change Fate of GOP
By ALEX GREEN and RICK KLEIN
Oct. 14, 2008

An increasingly hostile national climate for Republicans has shaken up Senate races across the nation, giving Democrats a plausible shot at achieving 60 seats -- a filibuster-proof majority that would embolden policy ambitions in Congress.

The shifting landscape -- driven in large part by economic unease -- leaves Democrats almost certain to dramatically expand their 51-49 majority in the Senate, according to independent analysts and political strategists in both parties..... MORE

This is the kind of stuff that scares me as a Libertarian. I am much happier when there is some form of control to prevent the Democratic and Republican agendas from being fully implemented. I dislike the fact that socialists have hijacked the Democratic party, so in this election I am voting for McCain. That's not the only reason, Governor Palin solidified my backing for Senator McCain.

Groups register voters without controversy

In this day and age of voter registration fraud, it's nice to see that the largest voter registration groups have reportedly had few incidents of the kind that follows A.C.O.R.N. everywhere they go.

I am happy to support voter registration by groups such as Declare Yourself, HeadCount, Student PIRGs, Rock the Vote, and LULAC.

No one wants A.C.O.R.N. to stop registering voters. What we want is for them to hire reputable people and reform themselves so that this fraudulent behavior is stopped. If they cannot reform, then just as any other business or organization, the leadership should be investigated for the depth of their involvement.

I personally would like Senator Obama to quit running from every person or organization that comes under fire by the press. He did donate almost a million dollars to this group. But the pattern for Senator Obama is the same. He has no loyalty whatsoever. Instead, he tosses folks under the bus in pure Chicago Politician style. He does not have seem to have the fortitude to stand up and defend anyone. Instead, he hides from them.

In compliance with the Fairness Doctrine.

It has occurred to me that Senator Obama may win this election. I have decided to take action now and comply with Nancy Pelosi's "Fairness Doctrine" by adding the opposing view to this blog.
It's time to look toward change and the future. In other words, prepare for limitations on free speech for example.

In that spirit of fairness, I now present you with an article from the Christian Science Monitor.

Dare I believe Obama can win?
His idealism brings out the best in me – and in others. So what happens if he loses?
By Courtney E. Martin

from the October 3, 2008 edition

Could the quiet seed of joy that was planted in my heart the day I heard Barack Obama speak for the first time take root and grow without fear of the brutal storms of disappointment?

Could a leader that evokes awe in me actually win a presidential election? Could the beauty – and logic – of his words win over the majority of this country's voters? Could they see past the lies and distractions to the center of a human being who sincerely wants to invoke citizens' higher selves?

Could a system that seems so broken, so moneyed, so corrupt actually serve to help the American people elect an authentic, complex thinker? Could it be that – despite all that is wrong with the electoral process – there is enough right to allow a thoughtful candidate to get through the muck and emerge earnest and excited to lead?....

Liberal race-baiters

Ironic.

That's the only word I can come up with. Sometimes you just have to ask yourself who is kidding who?

Suddenly, John McCain is a racist. In fact, he has been compared to George Wallace, the famous anti desegregation DEMOCRATIC Governor of Alabama who ran for President numerous times. You have lost your mind Congressman John Lewis. You should know better.

That is nothing but race baiting. Period. There is only one major party in this nation who has shown a history of racism. That would be the Democratic party. It was they who invented the Jim Crow laws.
It was Democrats like John F Kennedy who voted AGAINST the 1957 Civil Rights Act introduced by GOP President Eisenhower, and Nixon and Republicans in general voted for it.
Even the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which supposedly established the Democrats’ bona fides on race, was passed in spite of the Democrats rather than because of them. Republican Senate Minority Leader Everett Dirksen pushed the bill through the Senate, despite the no-votes of 21 Democrats, including Gore Sr. and Robert Byrd, who remains a powerful force in the Senate today. In contrast, only four Republicans opposed the bill.
Socialist Democrats are still working diligently to keep minorities suppressed. They use a new strategy. It's called welfare. This is the Saul Alenski tactic that has at it's core, the idea of inciting the anger of the minorities, and using that anger and invented suppression as a means to gain the vote of the middle class through guilt.

Leftists showing empathy for an opposing view

This video sort of reminds me of my college days. Sadly to say, I was one of the intolerant leftists back then. I actually voted for Mondale. Then Clinton. And this is a period of my life I will label "under the influence of the Marxo-fascist professors that drummed socialism and atheism into our heads", as if they actually were the more intellectual opinion.

Anyway, take a look at America's elitists in action.

Guilty! GUILTY!! Guilty! GUILTY!! Guilty! GUILTYY!!!!

Yes. It is confirmed. Sarah Palin is guilty of wrongfully firing public safety commissioner Walter Monegan!!!!

I knew it all along!

Fascist!

Huh? She wasn't found guilty of wrongfully firing him?

You mean she is exonorated then?

No?

But....the investigation....the charges.....the claims! She was being investigated over her firing of Commish Monegan......right?

Innocent of that?

Huh?

You mean she is still guilty?.....Todd did what? He tried to get that Tazer toting beer guzzling moose poaching trooper fired?

HOW DARE HE????!!!!!!

I get it now. She is guilty of not stopping Todd from working to unload this government waste.

She is EVIL!!!

Sarahcudda.....who wears the pants in that Governor's mansion???!!!!!

Leaders May Close World's Markets

Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said political leaders are discussing the idea of closing the world's financial markets while they ``rewrite the rules of international finance.''

``The idea of suspending the markets for the time it takes to rewrite the rules is being discussed,'' Berlusconi said today after a Cabinet meeting in Naples, Italy. A solution to the financial crisis ``can't just be for one country, or even just for Europe, but global.''

Ummmmmmmmmmm..................

That's definitely not good.

Looks like the New World Order has arrived.

Naming Names. Finally!!!!!!!

I Was driving in my car when I heard this rally being broadcast on the radio. This was awesome. Simply awesome.

Link: Mccain to go after chris dodd, barney frank

It made me pull off the highway when I heard this. I was overjoyed!. Finally!!! Finally!!!

Thank you Senator McCain, so far you seemed to be running to lose. I hope you get it now. You owe us a victory. You are all that is in the way of a "progressive" senate, house, and White House. It's on your shoulders to prevent a condition that has only happened twice in American history. The first time brought us the "New Deal", the second brought us the "Great Society". I'm afraid to guess what will be next.

Secretary Cuomo admits BAD LOANS. Guess who admits to being part of it?

You know, the evidence is out there. It's every where. I am becoming more and more confident that Senator McCain is going to win this election by a landslide.

OK, I'm being overly optimistic.

But look at this video of Bill Clinton's Secretary of housing and urban development describing their socialistic plans to force banks to loan money to people who can't afford them.
Can anyone continue living in denial after watching this? This action is bringing down the economies of many many nations.

Are you still a socialist? Do you still think it is deregulation that caused this mess?

It's your Judgement that scares me Senator.

I was reading through some archives of the African Press International when I came upon an older article that discusses Senator Obama's trip to Kenya where he was campaigning for fellow Luo Raila Odinga (“your agent for change’-seriously, how coincidental is that?), who was running for President.

I shouldn't have to tell you about the violence and bloodshed that followed this election. Odinga is a socialist monster who wanted to stop Kenya's support for the war on terror. He also wanted to create a Muslim state, but that's beside the point. A Kenyan government spokesman, Dr. Alfred Mutua said;
"Sen. Obama has to look at critically about where he's receiving his advice from.."

The article is summarized thusly:
Clearly, Obama campaigned for someone who is corrupt, ruthless and has financial ties to terrorists. More importantly, Obama campaigned for a candidate who had the stated objective of dismantling US & Kenyan government efforts to root out Al Queda and other terrorist organizations. Organizations that had already caused the deaths of hundreds of Americans and Africans in embassy bombings. Senator Obama’s actions—intentional or not—were in direct conflict with the efforts and interests of US national security. I think this raises serious questions about the judgment, maturity and readiness of Senator Obama.

I couldn't agree more.

One thing that bothers me about all of this is how folks tend to rely on how true/false something is based on Politifact.com or snopes.com instead of verifying these things for themselves. I bet Mussolini would have loved to have had such a nice tool at his disposal. Not that it currently is being used in this manner. I don't think that. But they seem to be wrong quite often. Too often for my taste. A good example is their saying that Obama did write a letter to Paulson about Fannie Mae. Then they reference a letter on the Obama website as evidence. They looked no further. Hey, that is sound fact checking, isn't it? Go to the candidates website. There could be no lies there, right?

Finally, Absolute irrefutable evidence of the continuation of life beyond the confinement of the grave!!!

I have been waiting all of my life for a moment like this one.

All of that waiting has paid off!

I'm not Blaming Obama for this one. It ain't his fault.

Every once in a while a person comes along that says the craziest things and gets taken serious. An example below.

I have the feeling that Senator Obama is cringing at the sight of this video.

As a side note, P.J. Gladnick writes, "Imagine the excitement of the mainstream media if they had discovered that some preacher up in Alaska had declared Sarah Palin to be like a deity? Well, the same basic thing happened when the Supreme Minister of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, declared Barack Obama to be a messiah.".

One thing I will say....considering the state of the world's economy and all of the other things going on......the timing looks pretty good for an.....ummmm.......never mind.

Obama has more baggage to explain

It seems that Senator Obama has some explaining to do about his past again. It turns out that he really was/is a member of the Marxist "New Party" after all. the Obama campaign along with the New Party and Democratic Socialists of America claimed that Obama was never a member of either organization. They managed to remove Obama's name from their website, but what they hadn't counted on is the existence of Internet Archives.

For those of you not familiar with this radical socialist political party, you can read their "about us" page from the web archives here.

Getting back to Senator Obama's membership in this party, let me quote from the article;

October 1996 Update :
Running to Win : The Key Races
New Party members are busy knocking on doors, hammering down lawn signs, and phoning voters to support NP candidates this fall. Here are some of our key races:

Arkansas: The Little Rock New Party has a full slate of candidates up for election in November. LRNP steering committee member Michael Booker is running unopposed for re-election to the Arkansas State House. Two NP members - Paul Kelly and Genevieve Stewart - are running for at-large (city-wide) city council positions. And in a head-to-head battle between the New Party and the conservative right, NP member Jayne Cia faces the Arkansas state chair of Empower America (Jack Kemp and Bill Bennett's organization) for a Justice of the Peace (county board) position.

Illinois: Three NP-members won Democratic primaries last Spring and face off against Republican opponents on election day: Danny Davis (U.S. House), Barack Obama (State Senate) and Patricia Martin (Cook County Judiciary).

In another article from New populist.org, we read that;

New Party member Barack Obama was uncontested for a State Senate seat from Chicago.

Another socialist organization that has reported on Senator Obama's membership in the New Party was the Democratic Socialist Party of America. You might recall, they now deny any of this, but an interesting article is to be found mentioning Senator Obama reads;

Candidates must be approved via a NP political committee. Once approved, candidates must sign a contract with the NP. The contract mandates that they must have a visible and active relationship with the NP.

The political entourage included Alderman Michael Chandler, William Delgado, chief of staff for State Rep Miguel del Valle, and spokespersons for State Sen. Alice Palmer, Sonya Sanchez, chief of staff for State Sen. Jesse Garcia, who is running for State Rep in Garcia's District; and Barack Obama, chief of staff for State Sen. Alice Palmer. Obama is running for Palmer's vacant seat.

Senator Obama, Why do you consistently cover up your past and throw off all of your old associations? Is there anything about you that is real? Anything at all? Did you sign a contract with the New Party? We want to know.

I know, I know. This is just more Rovian politics. Every time you hear that card played, you know the liberals have lost the argument. Hey, I'm a Libertarian. I don't care for the blue blood country club Republicans form of government either. But at least they are not Marxists elitists who would take every liberty you have in order to institute a new socialist America.

Look what American Socialism brought us

Looks like the social engineering of our banks lending practices here in the US have created a global market crisis.

Hey thanks to all of you social engineers for bringing us this wonderful economic news.

Thanks for stopping that evil George Bush and racist John McCain from reforming Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

Thanks for managing to blame your socially engineered sub-prime mortgage mess on the Republicans who tried to head it off.

Thanks for giving us a candidate that will make sure that we are implementing even more sound socialist policies that will almost certainly fix the socialist policies that created a world wide catastrophe! (Scary)

Thank you for preventing the US Capitalist system to work the way it is supposed to work. Yes, that system that has been so successful in the past that unlike the fall of the Soviet Union, the economic fate of the USA is the fate of the entire world's economies. Your mess has spilled over because as much as you hate our free capitalist system, it is the system that has sustained the economies of so many other nations that have invested in it. Even the socialist ones. Now that you tinkered with your socialist policies without apology, you have broken the very economy that sustained other nations ability to play with socialism. Yes, that's right. They always had the US economy to invest in when they needed money.

Oops.

Obama and Ayers. Radicals

Strangely enough, on another blog, it has been suggested that there is hardly any connection between the admitted and proud terrorist William Ayers. I didn't bother answering. But that's not what bothered me the most. This person is an undecided voter, and believes we shouldn't be asking these kinds of questions about Senator Obama.

That bothered me.

I am a Christian who has investigated my own religion to the point that I do not accept certain modern Christian doctrines (such as a the belief in an eternal Hell). I didn't arrive by that conclusion without extensive research, checking the facts, and going where that leads me. Asking questions is fundamental in coming to the truth.

I used the same sort of diligence in deciding if Senator Obama is the kind of guy I can vote for. I had to admit, before the Democratic primaries, I knew a little about him, but not very much. I am a person that believes we are not who we say we are. We are our actions. Our willful actions are the best indicator of who we are.

Well, I discovered that Senator Obama surrounded himself with the kind of people I would never consider being associated with. Bill Ayers is one of them.

Let me ask you something?
If you heard I was working closely with Charles Manson, what would you think?
What if I served on boards with him, spoke at the same events, and worked with him to raise money for education? What if he had a party at his ranch to kick off my political career? What if my wife invited him to speak at the same events that she asks me to speak at?
"I was barely 4 years old when he ordered those murders" I tell you. "He was a guy in my neighborhood" I protest. "I detest the actions of Charles Manson and strongly condemn them"
But yet, even though Charlie never said he was sorry for ordering those murder, and in fact, told us he wished he had done more, I still managed to find myself working closely with him to reform education.

What would you say if everyone around you said we shouldn't keep asking questions. It's been asked before, time to drop it.
Scary stuff.

In 1995 Ayers -- whose stated educational objective is to "teach against oppression" as embodied in "America's history of evil and racism, thereby forcing social transformation" -- founded a "school reform organization" called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC). He appointed Obama as the group's first chairman. This appointment is Obama's only real executive experience, yet he never mentioned it in any of his writings, anywhere. CAC translated Mr. Ayers's radicalism into practice. Instead of funding schools directly, it required schools to affiliate with "external partners," which actually got the money. Have a read of Bill Ayer's writing in "City Kids, City Teachers", where Bill Ayers wrote that teachers should be community organizers dedicated to provoking resistance to American racism and oppression. His preferred alternative? "I'm a radical, Leftist, small 'c' communist,".

Senator Obama was the executive that pushed Bill Ayers radicalism down students throats using the external partnership funding process that denied funding for schools that did not follow Bill Ayer's principles. CAC archives demonstrate Obama and Ayers worked as a team to further the foundation's agenda. Obama was in charge of fiscal matters, while Ayers' position was more concerned with shaping educational policy.

Yet Obama never mentions any of this, ever, anywhere.

His association with Bill Ayers is real. This is who we are about to elect. Bury your head, or go out and question things, follow the trail. If you are relying on the media, you are being foolish. They are in the tank for Senator Obama.
