The Progressives never Tell the Truth: just what ya wanna hear

I don't mind an honest debate. I think ideas should be debated. Everyone does not agree with me obviously, and I respect that.

What I do NOT respect is a dishonest debate and hidden agendas. That is the modus operandi of the progressives throughout history. Both Republican and Democrat.

I'm pretty straightforward when I tell you I am for liberty and freedom. No hidden agenda. No subversive secret path to fulfill my goals. The progressives are not like that, because they know that if they admitted to their aims, they would lose the debate immediately. Thus they use the tools of incrementalism to slowly take over the US. They don't appeal to your reason and logic, but tug at your heartstrings in order to win small victories time and time again. They will use your emotions against you in order to chip away at your liberty.

Health Care is a Right.

I have been hearing a lot of clamour from the progressives out there proclaiming that healthcare is a "right".

Ok, I'll go along with that. It's not specifically in the bill of rights, but we can all probably agree that it is a fundemental human right.

The rights laid out in the Constitution describe what the US Government may not impose upon us.
For Example:

1st Ammendment- Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

2nd Amendment - A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

3rd Amendment - No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

4th Amendment - The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Etc, etc,.

Since our Constitutional rights tell us what the Government cannot do to us, then it probably should not be allowed to impose any laws that regulate how we and our doctors interact with each other. Any law that suggests otherwise is an infringement on our freedom.

If you want to define "rights" as what government ought to regulate and provide FOR us, then I would like to know why the Government is not providing us with arms. Why is it not giving us free internet and a government paid platform for us to issue forth our free speech? Why is there not a guard or two posted at my door to make sure no one attempts to search my property without a warrant?

So lets call health care a right. I'm cool with that. I can't afford it, but I can't afford a really really nice gun either.
